The Sacrament

Jesus broke bread and gave wine to his disciples to symbolize his coming suffering and death. As you prepare for the sacrament this week, consider reading the articles below and pondering on the symbolic significance of that ordinance.

The Savior Suffered for Us

After the Last Supper, Jesus went to the Garden of Gethsemane, where He bled from every pore and suffered for each of us that we might be able to repent and return to our Heavenly Father.
