God’s Mercy for Those Who Return

God loves all His children, including those who may have strayed from the gospel path. When we repent and return to God, He is full of mercy and love.

  • Consider the Goodness and Greatness of God.” In this general conference address, Elder Dale G. Renlund of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles testifies that the Savior “loves to heal wounds you cannot heal” and “to fix what has been irreparably broken.”

The purpose of temple and family history work is to turn our hearts to those who have already passed on. When we participate in this work, we are blessing both ourselves and our ancestors.
