The Answer
Do you ever wonder
How rain can fall
And how ivy finds its way
Up the garden wall?
Or why a flower grows
From a tiny little seed,
Or how a parent bird can know
What its babies need?
Do you ever stop to think
How wonderful is snow
And how, without a person’s help,
Roadside weeds can grow?
Do you ever wonder—
Oh so many things—
How creatures grow, and walk, and run,
And why butterflies have wings?
There is just one answer—
One source for all that’s good,
One reason why so many things
Happen as they should—
And that’s because our Heavenly Father
Has all things in His care,
And His loving tenderness
Reaches everywhere.
