Salt Beads
1/2 cup table salt
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup cornstarch
1 teaspoon blue food coloring
toothpicks
string
Heat salt in water until hot. Add salt water to other ingredients and knead until smooth. Break off in small amounts, roll into balls, slip onto a toothpick and place on waxed paper to dry. Mold mixture while warm for best results. If dough becomes stiff, dampen with warm water. After beads dry, remove from toothpick and string.
