To Daddy

Oh, Daddy, dear, I do love you;

I’m grateful that you love me too.

I could buy ties or books and such

To show I love you very much.

But this year when it’s Father’s Day,

I won’t give gifts the usual way.

Instead, the whole year through will be

A day of love to you, from me.
