Cautions for Baby-Sitters!
1
Counsel with your parents or guardians before accepting a baby-sitting job.
2
Be sure you have important telephone numbers—where parents can be reached, police and fire departments, family doctor, and someone to contact in case of an emergency.
3
Know approximate time when the parents will return.
4
Learn what to do in an emergency.
5
Keep doors and windows locked. Completely close drapes or blinds at night.
6
Do not allow anyone to come into the house unless previous arrangements have been made by the parents.
7
Call your parents when you leave to go home so they will know when to expect you.
8
Do not walk or ride your bicycle home alone after dark.
