Tree for the Birds

Trim a little Christmas tree

For the chirpy chickadee.

Tie some strings of popcorn to it;

Hang some apples, raisins, suet.

Sprinkle crumbs upon the ground;

Chickadee will hop around.

First he’ll eat, and then he’ll sing,

“Thank you, friend, for everything!”
