Holiday Whirlers

1. Trace patterns onto several different colors of construction paper.

2. Cut out and along spiral lines.

3. Glue tiny cake decoration or grain of rice to bottom of each center (see illustration).

4. Toss several whirlers gently, and watch them open up as they drift down, looking like a starburst.
