Treasure Map
To make an old-looking treasure map, you will need: paper (a manila envelope works well) and a pencil or black pen.
-
For a family home evening, hide a treasure—either the refreshments or an object to be used in a lesson.
-
Draw a map on the piece of paper that shows where the treasure has been hidden.
-
Crumple the paper into a tight ball.
-
Carefully uncrumple the paper and smooth it out.
-
Repeat steps 3 and 4 five to seven times, until the paper is very old and worn looking.
-
Place the paper between two heavy books to flatten it.
