“When the Thunder Rumbles,” Friend, June 1994, 27
When the Thunder Rumbles
When the thunder rumbles and grumbles at my door,
When the wind gets wild and the rain begins to pour,
Or when creepy creatures clutter up my dreams,
And when all the world’s a scary place, it seems,
I can
say a prayer,
whistle a tune,
or sing a hymn,
And very soon
I can feel at peace, for my Heav’nly Father’s near.
With His love to guide me, I never need to fear.
