Sister Simon’s Saints
1 I’m not sure caroling is such a good idea. We’re not the greatest singers.
Yeah, what if we hit a sour note and hurt somebody’s eardrums?
2 Who’s listening for sour notes? Every voice is an angel’s voice at Christmastime.
3 “Hark! the herald angels sing
Glory to the newborn King!
Peace on earth and mercy mild,
God and sinners reconciled!”
4 “Away in a manger, no crib for his bed,
The little Lord Jesus laid down his sweet head;
The stars in the heavens looked down where he lay,
The little Lord Jesus, asleep on the hay.”
5 Please come inside and have some refreshments.
6 You sang like angels!
