Jesus’ Plan
“I’m going to miss the flowers,”
I told my mom today.
“I think it’s nearly autumn.
When it is, they’ll go away!”My mom said, “They’ll be dying.
You have the story right.
But they’ll be back next springtime,
Just as morning follows night.
“You’ll have a dance in crunchy leaves.
You’ll see the snowflakes fall.
And soon the spring will bring new life—
It won’t be long at all.”
“Did Jesus make the seasons, Mom,
Just as He created man?”
“As all must die—so all will live,”
She said. “That’s Jesus’ plan.”
