“Scripture Pictures Game,” Friend, Nov. 2008, 24–25
Scripture Picture Game
To play this game, you will need: scriptures; 1 die; 1 playing piece for each team; paper; pencils, pens, or crayons; timer, watch, or clock. Divide into teams and put the playing pieces on Start. The first team rolls the die and moves its piece that number of spaces. If the space doesn’t have a scripture, do what it asks you to do or answer the question. Everyone on the team can participate. If the space has a scripture, one person on the team looks up the scripture, reads it silently, and then has one minute to draw what is described in the scripture. If that person’s team can guess what the picture is, that team takes another turn. If a team lands on a scripture that has already been read and drawn, the team can roll again.
