When I Go to Sleep

When I go to sleep at night,

I sing a happy song.

I know that day is on its way;

The darkness won’t last long.

Jesus made the moon and stars.

He gave us day and night.

I never need to fear the dark,

For Jesus is my light.

I can always feel His love,

The peace His Spirit brings.

Jesus loves me and is near;

I need not fear a thing.
