Come, Follow Me Activities for Little Ones

For Hebrews 1–6

Pretend you’re sailing a ship together. How will you know where to go? Talk about how Jesus Christ is like a captain (see Hebrews 2:10). When we believe in Him, He can guide us safely through life.

For Hebrews 7–13

Sing “Faith” (Children’s Songbook, 96–97). Talk about how we show our faith when we trust God and follow Jesus Christ.

For James

Make a treat together. While it is cooking, ask, “Does it feel hard to wait?” Waiting is not easy. But when we wait for good things to come—like God’s blessings—it will always be worth it.

For 1 and 2 Peter

Take your little ones outside. Is it a sunny day? A rainy day? Think of something you can do to enjoy the weather. Teach that we can be happy, no matter how things are around us.

For 1–3 John; Jude

Measure how tall your little ones are. Teach that as the Savior grew, He made good choices every day. Ask them to name a good choice they made today. Help them say, “I am growing, like Jesus did!”
