The Names of Christ
The Savior has many names and titles given to Him.
Here are just some of those names and what youth around the world—youth like you—think of them:
Alpha and Omega
See Revelation 1:8.
“I love Alpha and Omega because He is our beginning and end of our journey.”
The Good Shepherd
See John 10:11–14.
“He’ll come look for me and know when I am lost, and He will always love me.”
Prince of Peace
See Isaiah 9:6.
“This reminds me of how calm and peaceful it was to sing in Primary.”
“Life can be tumultuous, but He’s always there to calm the storm.”
Savior
See Isaiah 43:11.
“Because it reminds me that He saved me.”
“Savior reminds me that out of love for all of us he came to earth and sacrificed himself for love and obedience.”
Comforter and Deliverer
See Psalm 144:2; Isaiah 49:13.
“He comforts and delivers us in times of personal bondage.”
“I find that whenever I’m stressed, Jesus Christ is always waiting for me to turn to Him.”
Redeemer
See Isaiah 47:4.
“He does so much to lift me up.”
“His love and grace redeemed me from my sins.”
“I have made many mistakes in my life, and I know He can redeem me as long as I repent.”
Light of the World

“He is literally a guiding light in my life.”
Man of Sorrows

“He understands us perfectly. I am thankful for that.”
“I’m not alone in my sorrows.”
“He really understands what I’m going through.”
Rock

Refuge
