Nigcine Njalo Ukuthethelelwa Kwezono Zenu

Ngamandla okungcwelisa kaMoya oNgcwele njengomlingani wethu onathi njalo, singagcina njalo ukuthethelelwa kwezono zethu.

Ukuzalwa Kabusha Ngokomoya

Emhlabeni sidlula ekuzalweni ngokwenyama futhi sibanethuba lokuzalwa kabusha ngokomoya.3 Siyanxuswa ngabaprofethi nabaphostoli ukuba sivukele kuNkulunkulu,4 “sizalwe kabusha,”5 futhi sibe yizidalwa ezintsha kuKristu6 ngokwamukela ezimpilweni zethu izibusiso ezitholakala ngenxa yeNhlawulo kaJesu Kristu. “Izenzo ezinhle, nesihawu, kanye nomusa kaMesiya oNgcwele”7 zingasisiza ukunqoba amathuba okuziqhayisa nokuzicabangela komuntu wemvelo futhi sibe nokuzidela, nomusa, futhi sibe ngabangcwele. Siyalwa ukuba siphile ngendlela yokuthi sikwazi ukuthi “sime singenasici phambi [kweNkosi] ngosuku lokugcina.”8

UMoya oNgcwele neziMiso zobuPristi

UmProfethi uJoseph Smith wafingqa ngamafushane indima ebalulekile yezimiso zobupristi evangelini likaJesu Kristu: “Ukuzalwa kabusha, kuza ngoMoya oNgcwele ngenxa yezimiso.”9 Lesi sitatimende esikhanyisayo sigqamisa indima yoMoya oNgcwele kanye neyezimiso ezingcwele ekuqhubekeni kokuzalwa kabusha ngokomoya.

UMoya oNgcwele uyilungu lesithathu kubuNkulunkulu. Ungumuntu onesithunzi somoya futhi ufakaza ngakho konke okuyiqiniso. “Futhi ngaphandle kwezimiso zabo, negunya lobuphristi, amandla obunkulunkulu awembulwa kubantu enyameni.”15

Izimiso ezamukelwe futhi ezihlonishwa ngobuqotho zibalulekile kakhulu ekutholeni amandla obunkulunkulu futhi nazozonke izibusiso ezikhona ngenxa yeNhlawulo yoMsindisi.

Ukuthola futhi Nigcine Ukuthethelelwa Kwezono ngenxa yeziMiso

Umbhabhadiso ngokucwiliswa ukuze kuthethelelwe izono “yisimiso sokungeniswa sevangeli”16 likaJesu Kristu futhi kumele sendulelwe wukholo kuMsindisi kanye nokuphenduka obuqotho. “Umbhabhadiso ngamanzi … ufanele ulandelwe umbhabhadiso woMoya ukuze uphelele.”19 Njengoba uMsindisi afundisa uNikhodimu, “Uma umuntu engazalwa ngamanzi nangoMoya, ngeke angene embusweni kaNkulunkulu.”20

Izitatimende ezintathu eziphuma kumProfethi uJoseph Smith zigcizelela isixhumanisi esimqoka phakathi kwezimiso zombhabhadiso ngokucwiliswa ukuze uthethelelwe izono nokubekwa izandla ukuze uthole isipho soMoya oNgcwele.

Isitatimende 1: “Umbhabhadiso uyisimiso esingcwele esilungiselela ukwemukela uMoya oNgcwele; uyindlela nokhiye osingathwa ngayo uMoya oNgcwele.”21

Isitatimende 2: “Kufana nokubhabhadisa isaka lenhlabathi ulibize ngomuntu, uma kungenzelwe ukuthethelela izono nokwemukela uMoya oNgcwele. Umbhabhadiso ngamanzi qha ungumbhabhadiso ongaphelele, futhi awusizi ngalutho ngaphandle kwalenye ingxenye—pheculezi, umbhabhadiso woMoya oNgcwele.”22

Isitatimende 3: “Umbhabhadiso wamanzi, awunamsebenzi ngaphandle kombhabhadiso womlilo nokaMoya oNgcwele. Ibalulekile futhi ixhunywe ngokungahlukaniswa.”23

Ukuhlangana okuqhubekayo phakathi komgomo wokuphenduka, nesimiso sombhabhadiso nokwamukela isipho sikaMoya oNgcwele, nesibusiso esimangalisayo sokuthethelelwa izono kugqanyiswe ngokuphindelela emibhalweni engcwele.

UNefi wathi, “Isango okufanele ningene ngalo ngukuphenduka kanye nokubhabhadiswa ngamanzi; bese kuza ukuthethelelwa kwezono zenu ngomlilo kanye nangoMoya oNgcwele.24

UMsindisi uqobo Lwakhe wamemezela ethi, “Manje lona ngumyalelo: Phendukani, nonke mikhawulo yomhlaba, futhi nize kimi futhi nibhabhadiswe egameni lami, ukuze ningcweliswe ngokwamukela uMoya oNgcwele, ukuze nime ningenasici phambi kwami ngosuku lokuphela.”25

Ukubeka izandla ukwemukela isipho sikaMoya oNgcwele kuyisimiso esenziwa ngegunya lobuPristi bukaMelkisedeki. Endleleni yokuza kuMsindisi nokuzalwa kabusha ngokomoya, ukwemukela amandla angcwelisayo kaMoya oNgcwele ezimpilweni zethu kuvula ithuba lokuba imiphefumulo yethu ihlanzwe ngokuqhubekayo esonweni. Singamalungu eBandla leNkosi elivusiwe, sibusiswe kabili ngokuhlanzwa kwethu okokuqala esonweni okumelene nombhabhadiso futhi nethuba lokuthi kuqhubeke kusihlanze esonweni okwenzeka ngenxa yobuhlobo namandla kaMoya oNgcwele—ngisho ilungu lesithathu lobuNkulunkulu.

Izimiso zombhabhadiso ngokucwiliswa, nokubekwa izandla ukuze uthole isipho soMoya oNgcwele, kanye nesidlo esingcwele akusiyona imicimbi ehlukene; kunalokho, kuyizakhi ezihlangene futhi ezikhulisanayo emfanekisweni wenqubekela phambili. Ngosizo lweNkosi nangamandla oMoya Wakhe “[okusi]fundisa zonke izinto,”31 nangempela singabusiswa ukubona izinto ezingenzeka kithi ngokomoya. Izimiso zimema isizathu sangokomoya namandla ezimpilweni zethu njengoba sizama ukuzalwa kabusha sibe amadoda namadodakazi kaKristu.32 Ubuthakathaka bethu bungaqiniswa, nokulinganiselwa kwethu kunganqotshwa.

Yize kungekho namunye ongakwazi ukuzuza ukuphelela du kulempilo, singafaneleka kancane kancane futhi singabinasici njengoba “sihlanzwe yigazi le Mvana.”33 Ngiyathembisa futhi ngiyafakaza sizobusiswa ngokholo olwandayo kuMsindisi kanye nesiqiniseko esandayo ngokomoya ngesikhathi sibheka ukugcina njalo ukuthethelelwa kwezono zethu futhi, ekugcineni, sime singenasici phambi kweNkosi ngosuku lokuphela.
