Ko ia, ko e hā ʻa e anga ʻoku taau mo kimoutolú? Savior with followers

“Pea ʻi heʻena mamata ki aí, peá na pehē, ʻEiki, ʻe lelei kiate koe ke ma fekau hifo ʻa e afi mei he langí, ʻo fakaʻauha ʻa kinautolu, ʻo hangē ko ia naʻe fai ʻe [ʻIlaiasé]?

“He naʻe ʻikai haʻu ʻa e Foha ʻo e tangatá ke fakaʻauha ʻa e moʻui ʻa e kakaí, ka ke fakamoʻui [kinautolu]” (veesi  54–56).

ʻOku totonu ke fakaʻehiʻehi e “[kau] fakamaau fakalūkufua” (T&F 107:74) ʻo e ʻaho ní, mei he loto puna ke fakahalaiaʻí, hangē ko ia ne fai ʻe Sēmisi mo Sioné. ʻE tali ʻe he fakamaau māʻoniʻoní, ʻa e vetehia ʻi he manavaʻofá mo e loto mahinó Hangē ko ʻení, ʻoku totonu ke mavahe mei he ʻōfisi ʻo e pīsopé, ha toʻu tupu naʻá ne fai ha fehalaaki, ʻokú ne ongoʻi e ʻofa ʻa e Fakamoʻuí ʻo fakafou ʻi he pīsopé pea mo ne ongoʻi e fiefia mo e mālohi faifakamoʻui ʻo e Fakaleleí—kae ʻoua ʻaupito naʻá ne ongoʻi fakamāʻia pe ongoʻi kuo tauteaʻi ia. Ka ʻikai, he ʻikai ʻilo ʻe he pīsopé ia ʻokú ne toe tuli atu ʻe ia e sipi heé ke toe hē fakaʻaufili ia (vakai, Luke 15:4).

ʻOku faʻa fakaʻaongaʻi ʻe he ʻEikí ʻi he folofolá ʻa e foʻi lea ko e tauteaʻi/valokiʻi, he taimi ʻoku tau talanoa ai ki he fakatonutonú (hangē ko ʻení, vakai ki he Mosaia 23:21; T&F 95:1).

ʻI he tafaʻaki ʻe tahá, ʻoku akoʻi mai ʻe he Tohi ʻa Molomoná ko e taimi ʻoku tau faiangahala ai ʻi he ʻiloʻilopaú, ʻoku tau “[fakamaauʻi] pē [kitautolu]” ( ʻAlamā 41:7) pea tau fakahū pē kitautolu ki he pilīsone fakalaumālié. Ko ia ʻoku maʻu ʻe he fakamaau fakalūkufua hení e ngaahi kī ʻokú ne fakaava e matapā ʻo e fale fakapōpulá; “ʻoku ou teuteu fakataha mo e tauteá ha founga ke fakahaofi ai ʻa kinautolu ʻi he ngaahi meʻa kotoa pē mei he ʻahiʻahí” (T&F 95:1; tānaki atu e fakamamafá). Ko e ngaahi founga ʻa e fakamaau māʻoniʻoní ʻoku mohu ʻaloʻofa, ʻofa mo fietokoni ke lava ʻo huhuʻi, kae ʻikai fakahalaiaʻi pē.

Neongo naʻá ne fakatomala moʻoni, ka naʻe kei toʻo pē ʻe he ʻEikí ia ʻa hono ngaahi faingamālié ʻi ha kiʻi vahaʻa taimi, he “ko kinautolu ʻoku ou ʻofa aí ʻoku ou tauteaʻi foki koeʻuhí ke lava ʻo fakamolemoleʻi ʻenau ngaahi angahalá” (T&F 95:1).

Naʻe pehē ʻe Siosefa, “Naʻe fiefia ʻa e ʻāngeló ʻi heʻene fakafoki mai kiate au ʻa e ʻUlimí mo e Tumemí, mo ne pehē ʻoku fiefia ʻa e ʻOtuá ʻi heʻeku angatonu mo loto fakatōkilaló, peá ne ʻofa ʻiate au ʻi heʻeku faʻa kātaki mo lotu faivelengá.”4Koeʻuhí naʻe fie akoʻi ʻe he ʻEikí kia Siosefa ha lēsoni liliu moʻui, naʻá Ne fie maʻu ai ha feilaulau ne ongo ki he lotó—he ko e feilaulaú ko ha konga mahuʻinga ia ʻo e fakatonutonú.

“ ʻI he kuonga muʻá, naʻe ʻuhinga ʻa e feilaulaú ke ʻai ha meʻa pe ko ha taha ke māʻoniʻoni,”5 ʻo fakafehokotaki ia, ki he fakaʻuhingaʻi ʻo e foʻi lea fakatonutonú— “ke fakahaohaoaʻí.” Hangē ko ʻIsileli ʻo e kuonga muʻá, ʻe lava ke hoko mai ʻa e fakamolemolé ʻi he faiangahalá pe foaki koeʻuhí ko ha angahala pe ʻi ha feilaulau. 6 ʻOku ʻikai ngata pē ʻi he “tuhu [e feilaulaú] ki he fuʻu feilaulau lahi mo fakaʻosi ko iá,” (Alma 34:14) ka naʻe tokoni ia ke fakatōkakano ha ongoʻi houngaʻia moʻoni ki he Fakalelei ʻa e Fakamoʻuí.

ʻI he tafaʻaki ʻe tahá, ʻoku fakafou ʻi he moʻoni ʻo e feilaulaú, ʻa ʻetau maʻu ha meʻa ʻoku mahuʻinga taʻengata—ko ʻEne ʻaloʻofá mo e fakamolemolé, kae pehē ki he “meʻa kotoa pē ʻoku maʻu ʻe [he] Tamaí” (T&F 84:38). ʻOku kau he hala ʻo e fakatomalá, ʻa e hoko e feilaulaú ko ha lolo faitoʻo ke tokoni ʻi hono fetongi e “tautea ʻo e konisēnisí” (ʻAlamā 42:18) ʻaki ha “fiemālie ʻo e konisēnisí” (Mōsaia 4:3). Ka ʻikai ha feilaulau, ʻe faingataʻa ki he tokotahá ke ne fakamolemoleʻi pē ia, he ʻoku ʻiloʻi ʻe he konisēnisí ʻoku ʻi ai ha meʻa ʻoku kei taʻotaʻofi.7

Ko e uho moʻoni ʻo e hoko ko e mātuʻa leleí ʻa hono akoʻi lelei ʻo e fānaú, pea ko e fakatonutonu ʻi he ʻofá, ko e uho moʻoni ia ʻo e fakamaau māʻoniʻoní.

Naʻe akoʻi mai ʻe Palesiteni Siosefa F. Sāmita ʻo pehē, “Kapau ʻoku fakafetau mo faingataʻa ke mapuleʻi ʻa e fānaú, kātakiʻi kinautolu kae ʻoua kuó ke lavaʻi ʻaki ʻa e ʻofá, … pea te ke toki lava ʻo oʻi ai honau ʻulungāangá ʻo fakatatau mo ho lotó.”8

ʻOku mahuʻinga fau heʻetau akoʻi e founga fakatonutonú, hangē ʻoku faʻa lea pē kau palōfitá ia ki he ngaahi ʻulungāanga faka-Kalaisí. ʻOku ʻomi ʻe he Tokāteline mo e Ngaahi Fuakavá ʻa e faleʻi ʻiloa ko ʻení kau ki he fakatonutonú:

“ʻOku ʻikai lava pe ʻoku ʻikai totonu ke ngāue ʻaki ha mālohi pe ivi ʻo e lakanga fakataulaʻeikí, kae ngata pē ʻi he feifeingaʻi, ʻi he faʻa kātaki fuoloa, ʻi he angavaivai mo e angamalū, pea mo e ʻofa taʻemālualoi;

“ʻI he angaʻofa, mo e ʻilo haohaoa, ʻa ia ʻe fuʻu fakafuofuolahi ʻa e laumālié taʻe ʻi ai ha mālualoi pea taʻe-ha-kākā—

“Pea valokiʻi ʻi hono taimí, ʻi he lea māsila, ʻo ka ueʻi ke fai pehē ʻe he Laumālie Māʻoniʻoní; pea hili iá ke toki fakahā ange ʻa e ʻofa lahi ange kiate ia” (T&F 121:41–43).

ʻOku akoʻi mai ʻe he folofola ko ʻení ke tau valokiʻi “ʻo ka ueʻi ke fai pehē ʻe he Laumālie Māʻoniʻoní,” kae ʻikai ko hono ueʻi koe ʻe hoʻo ʻitá. ʻOku ʻikai fenāpasi ʻa e Laumālie Māʻoniʻoní pea mo e ʻitá, he “ko ia ia ʻokú ne maʻu ʻa e laumālie ʻo e fakakikihí ʻoku ʻikai ʻaʻaku ia, ka ʻoku ʻo e tēvoló ia, ʻa ia ko e tamai ʻa e fakakikihí, pea ʻokú ne ueʻi hake ʻa e loto ʻo e kakaí ke fefakakikihiʻaki ʻi he ʻita” (3 Nīfai 11:29). Naʻe akoʻi mai ʻe Palesiteni Siaosi ʻAlipate Sāmita, “ʻoku ʻikai faʻa ueʻi ʻe he laumālie ʻo e ʻEikí ke fai ha ngaahi lea taʻeʻofa. Ko e Laumālie ʻo e ʻEikí ko ha laumālie ia ʻo e angaʻofa; ko ha laumālie ʻo e faʻa kātaki; ko ha laumālie ʻo e ʻofa faka-Kalaisi mo e ʻofa mo e fakamaʻumaʻu mo e kātaki fuoloa.

“… Ka ʻo kapau ʻoku tau maʻu ʻa e laumālie ʻo e kumi ha fehālaaki ʻa ha taha, … ʻi ha founga ʻe hoko ai ha maumau, ʻoku ʻikai ʻaupito tupu ia mei he takaua ʻo e Laumālie ʻo ʻetau Tamai Hēvaní pea ʻokú ne fakatupu maʻu pē ʻa e maumau.
