INtliziyo enoBulali kunye neThobekileyo

Ubulali buluphawu oluchaza uMkhululi kwaye lohlulwa ngempendulo elungileyo, nokuthozama ngokuzithandela, kunye nokuzibamba.

Ndiyavuya kwithuba elingcwele lokuxhasa iinkokheli zeBandla, kwaye ngentliziyo yam yonke ndiyamamkela uMdala Gong kunye noMdala Soares kwiQumrhu labaPostile Abalishumi Elinambini. Ukulungiselela kwala madoda mabini anyanisekileyo kuya kusikelela abantu ababodwa kunye neentsapho kwihlabathi jikelele, kwaye ndinomdla wokusebenza nabo kunye nokufunda kubo.

Ndiyathandaza ukuba uMoya oyiNgcwele uya kusifundisa kwaye usikhanyisele njengoko sifunda kunye malunga nendima ebalulekileyo yemvelo esulungekileyo1 yoMsindisi esiya kuthi omnye nomnye wethu azame ukuyilinganisa.

Ndiza kubonisa imizekelo eliqela ebonisa ngolu phawu lobuKrestu ngaphambili kokuchonga uphawu oluthe ngqo kamva emyalezweni wam. Ndicela nimamele ngononophelo kumzekelo ngamnye kwaye nicingisise kunye nam ngeempendulo ezinokwenzeka kwimibuzo endiza kuyibuza.

Umzekelo #1. Indodana Esisityebi kunye no–Amyuleki

KwiTestamente eNtsha, sifunda ngendodana esisityebi eyathi yabuza uYesu, “Mfundisi ulungileyo, yeyiphi na into elungileyo endingenza yona, ukuze ndibe nabo ubomi obungunaphakade?”2 UMsindisi waqala wamyala ngokuba agcine imiyalelo. UMfundisi walandelisa wanika indodana esisityebi imfuneko eyongezelelweyo eyenzelwe iimfuno zayo kunye neemeko zayo.

“Wathi uYesu kuyo, Ukuba ungafezeka, hamba uye kuthengisa ngeempahla zakho, uphe amahlwempu, woba nobutyebi emazulwini: uze ke undilandele.

“Ilivile ke indodana ilizwi elo, yemka ibuhlungu; kuba ibinemfuyo eninzi.”3

Thelekisa impendulo yendodana esisityebi kunye namava ka–Amyuleki, njengoko echazwa kwiNcwadi kaMormoni. U–Amyuleki wayeyindoda ekhutheleyo nesisityebi enezizalwane ezininzi nabahlobo abaninzi.4 Yena waye wazichaza njengendoda eyayibizwe amaxesha amaninzi kodwa ingeva, indoda eyayizazi izinto zikaThixo kodwa ingafuni ukwazi.5 Eyindoda elungileyo, u–Amyuleki wayephazanyiswa zizinto zomhlaba njengokufana nendodana esisityebi echazwa kwiTestamente eNtsha.

Nangona wayeqaqadekise intliziyo yakhe ngaphambili, u–Amyuleki wathobela ilizwi lengelosi, wamkela umprofeti u–Alma ekhayeni lakhe, kwaye wambonelela ngesondlo. Waye wavuselelwa ngokwasemoyeni ngelixa lotyelelo luka–Alma kwaye wabizelwa ukushumayela ivangeli. Emveni koko u-Amyuleki washiya “yonke igolide yakhe, nesilivere, nazo zonke izinto zakhe zexabiso … ngenxa yelizwi likaThixo, [kwaye] walahlwa ngabo babefudula bezizihlobo zakhe nanguyise kananjalo nezalamane zakhe.”6

Yintoni ocinga ukuba ichaza umahluko phakathi kweempendulo zendodana esisityebi kunye no–Amyuleki?

Umzekelo #2. UPhahorani

Ngelixa lemfazwe eyayinobuzaza kakhulu echazwa kwiNcwadi kaMormoni, utshintsha-tshintshwano lweencwadi zembalelwano lwenzeka phakathi kukaMoronayi, owayengumphathi wemikhosi yamaNifayithi, kunye noPhahorani, owayengumgwebi oyintloko nomlawuli welizwe. UMoronayi, omkhosi wakhe wawusokola ngenxa yenkxaso eyayingonelanga ephuma kurhulumente, waye wabhalela uPhahorani “ngendlela yokugweba”7 kwaye wamtyhola kunye noogxa bakhe abaziinkokheli ngokungakhathali, ngobuvila, nangokungahoyi, kwakunye nangokuba ngabangcatshi.8

Ngokulula nje uPhahorani ngewayemqumbele uMoronayi kunye nezityholo zakhe ezingachanekanga, kodwa akazange enze njalo. Waye waphendula ngemfesane kwaye wacacisa ngovukelo-mbuso ngokuchasene norhulumente olo uMoronayi wayengazi malunga nalo. UPhahorani waze wabhengeza esithi:

“Qaphela, ndithi kuwe, Moronayi, andivuyiswa ziimbandezelo zenu ezinzima, ewe, iyawuhlungisa umphefumlo wam. …

“… Kuyo incwadi yakho undikhalimele, kodwa akunamsebenzi; andicaphukanga, kodwa ndiyavuya ngesisa sentliziyo yakho.”9

Umzekelo #3. UMongameli Russell M. Nelson kunye noMongameli Henry B. Eyring

Kwinkomfa yajikelele kwezinyanga zintandathu zigqithileyo, uMongameli Russell M. Nelson waye wachaza impendulo yakhe kwisimemo sikaMongameli Thomas S. Monson sokufunda, nokucinga nzulu, kunye nesokusebenzisa iinyaniso eziqulethwe kwiNcwadi kaMormoni. Yena wathi: “Ndiye ndazama ukulandela ingcebiso yakhe. Phakathi kwezinye izinto, ndiye ndenza uluhlu lwezinto iNcwadi kaMormoni ezi, yonaizingqinayo, neziphikisayo, nezizalisekisayo, nezicacisayo, kunye nezityhilayo. Ukujonga iNcwadi kaMormoni ngaloo ndlela iye yaba yintshukumo enengqiqo kunye nephembelelayo! Ndiyayicebisa komnye nomnye wenu.”10

UMongameli Henry B. Eyring ngokufanayo naye ugxininise ukubaluleka kwesicelo sikaMongameli Monson ebomini bakhe. Yena uphawule:

“Ndiye ndayifunda iNcwadi kaMormoni yonke imihla kangangexesha elingapha kweminyaka engama-50. Ngoko ke mhlawumbi ndandinokucinga okokuba amazwi kaMongameli Monson ayenzelwe omnye umntu. Kodwa, njengoninzi lwenu, ndaye ndeva inkuthazo yomprofeti nesithembiso sakhe sindimema ukuba ndenze umzamo omkhulu ngakumbi. …

“Isiphumo esonwabisayo kum, kwakunye nakuninzi lwenu, siye saba yinto umprofeti ayithembisileyo.”11

Yintoni ocinga ukuba ichaza iimpendulo ezikhawulezileyo nezisenyongweni zeziinkokheli zimbini zeBandla leNkosi kwisimemo sikaMongameli Monson?

Andicebisi ukuba iimpendulo zokomoya eziluqilima zika–Amyuleki, noPhahorani, noMongameli Nelson, kunye noMongameli Eyring zingachazwa luphawu olunye kuphela lobuKrestu. Ngokuqinisekileyo, iimpawu ezininzi ezinxulumeneyo kunye namava akhokelela ekuqabukeni kwasemoyeni okubonakala ebomini bezi zicaka zine zinesidima. Kodwa uMsindisi kunye nabaprofeti baKhe baye bagxininisa uphawu olubalulekileyo olo sonke thina siludingayo ukuze siqonde ngokupheleleyo nangakumbi kwaye nokuzama ukuluphuhlisa ebomini bethu.

Ubulali

Nceda uqaphele uphawu iNkosi eyalusebenzisa ukuzichaza Yena buqu kwesi sibhalo singcwele silandelayo: “Thabathani idyokhwe yam niyithwale, nifunde kum; ngokuba ndinobulali, ndithobekile ngentliziyo: noyifumanela ukuphumla imiphefumlo yenu.”12

Eyalela, uMsindisi wakhetha ukugxininisa ubulali phakathi kwazo zonke iimpawu nakubunyulu Yena awayenokuzikhetha.

Indlela efanayo ibubungqina kwisityhilelo esafunyanwa nguMprofeti Joseph Smith ngo–1829. INkosi yabhengeza, “Fundani kum, kwaye nimamele amazwi am; hambani kubulali boMoya wam, kwaye niya kuba noxolo kum.”13

Ubulali buluphawu oluchaza uMkhululi kwaye lohlulwa ngempendulo yobulungisa, nokuthozama ngokuzithandelayo, kunye nokuzibamba. Olu phawu lusinceda ukuba siqonde ngokupheleleyo ngakumbi impendulo nganye ka–Amyuleki, nekaPhahorani, nekaMongameli Nelson, kunye nekaMongameli Eyring.

Umzekelo, uMongameli Nelson kunye noMongameli Eyring baye baphendula ngobulungisa nangokukhawuleza kwinkuthazo kaMongameli Monson yokufunda iNcwadi kaMormoni. Nangona omabini la madoda ebencedisa kwizikhundla ezibalulekileyo nezibonakalayo kwaye ayezifundile izibhalo ezingcwele ngokubanzi kumashumi ngamashumi weminyaka, aye abonakalisa kwiimpendulo zawo ukungathandabuzi okanye azibone ebaluleke kakhulu.

U–Amyuleki wazinikela ngothando kwintando kaThixo, wamkela ubizo lokushumayela ivangeli, kwaye washiya ngasemva iimeko zakhe ezintofo–ntofo nobudlelwane bakhe obuqhelekileyo. Kwaye uPhahorani wayesikelelekile ngokuqonda kunye nokuzibamba okuliqilima lokwenza kunokuphendula njengoko wayechazile kuMoronayi imingeni eyayivela kuvukelo lombuso olwaluchasene norhulumente.

Uphawu lobuKrestu lobulali lusoloko lungaqondwa kakuhle kwihlabathi lethu lanamhlanje. Ubulali buqinile, abukho buthathaka; bukhuthele, abumanga; bukhaliphile, abunazintloni; buyazibamba, abubaxi; buthozamile, abunamagugu; bunesisa, abukho krwada. Umntu onobulali akaxhokonxeki lula, akazenzisi, okanye akanyanzeli kwaye uhlala elungele ukubona ukuphumelela kwabanye.

Nangona intobeko ichaza ngokubanzi ukuxhomekeka kuThixo kunye nemfuneko rhoqo yesikhokelo nenkxaso yaKhe, uphawu olwahlukileyo lobulali lukukufumana okuthile kwasemoyeni kokufunda kuMoya oyiNgcwele kwakunye nasebantwini abasenokubonakala bengaphantsi ngokuzenzela, nangokwamava, okanye befunde kancinane, abangabambanga zikhundla ezibalulekileyo, okanye ngenye indlela ababonakali benokuninzi abangabanegalelo ngako. Khumbula indlela uNahaman, umphathi womkhosi wokumkani kwa–Aram, awaye woyisa ngayo ikratshi lakhe kwaye ngobulali wamkela ingcebiso yesicaka sakhe yokuthobela u–Elisha umprofeti kwaye ayokuhlamba emfuleni iYordan amatyeli asixhenxe.14 Ubulali bulukhuselo olungundoqo kubumfama bekratshi elisoloko livela ekudumeni, nakwisikhundla, nasemandleni, nasebutyebini, kunye nasekunconyweni.

Ubulali—UPhawu lobuKrestu kunye neSipho soMoya

Ubulali buluphawu oluphuhliswa ngomnqweno, nangokusebenzisa ngobulungisa ukhetho lokuziphatha, kunye nokuzama rhoqo ukugcina uxolelo lwezono zethu.15 Bukwasiso nesipho somoya eso sinokusifuna ngokufanelekileyo.16 Kumele sikhumbule, kananjalo, iinjongo ezo intsikelelo enjalo enikelwa zona, nkqu nokwenzela inzuzo nokusebenzela abantwana bakaThixo.17

Njengoko sisiza kwaye silandela uMsindisi, siyakhula kwaye kancinane kancinane siyakwazi ukufana njengaYe ngokungakumbi. Siyaxhotyiswa nguMoya ngokuzibamba okuqeqeshekileyo kunye nangempatho ezolileyo nethozamileyo. Ngoko ke, ubulali yinto esiba yiyo njengabafundi boMfundisi kwaye abuyonto nje esiyenzayo.

“Waqeqeshwa ke uMoses kubo bonke ubulumko bamaYiputa, waye ke eyinkunkqele ngamazwi nangemisebenzi.”18 Kanti “wayelulamile kunene kunabantu bonke abasemhlabeni.”19 Ulwazi nobuchule bakhe babunokumbangela ukuba abenekratshi. Endaweni yoko, uphawu nesipho somoya sobulali obo awayesikelelwe ngabo baye banciphisa ukuziphakamisa kwakhe ebomini bakhe kwaye bakhulisa uMoses njengesixhobo sokuphumeza iinjongo zikaThixo.

INkosi njengoMzekelo woBulali

Eyona mizekelo enobungangamsha nenentsingiselo yobulali ifumaneka ebomini boMsindisi buqu baKhe.

UMkhululi oMkhulu, “wehlela ngaphantsi kwazo zonke izinto”20 waze wahlupheka, wopha, kwaye wafela “ukusihlambulula kuko konke ukungalungisa,”21 ngobunono wahlamba iinyawo ezinothuli zabafundi baKhe.22 Ubulali obunjalo buluphawu olwahlukileyo lweNkosi njengesicaka kunye nanjengenkokheli.

UYesu ubonelela ngomzekelo omkhulu kakhulu wempendulo yobulungisa kunye nangentozamo ngokuzithandela njengoko Yena waye weva intlungu enzulu eGetsemane.

“Efikile kuloo ndawo, wathi [kubafundi baKhe], Thandazani, ningangeni ekulingweni.

“Waguqa ngamadolo … wathandaza,

“Esithi, Bawo, ukuba uyavuma, mayidlule le ndebe kum: kodwa makungabi kukuthanda kwam, makube kokwakho okwenzekayo.”23

Ubulali boMsindisi kula mava anokubaluleka kwanaphakade kunye nawayebuhlungu kakhulu abonakalisa komnye nomnye wethu ukubaluleka kokubeka ubulumko bukaThixo ngaphezu kobethu ubulumko.

Ukuqhubeka kokuzinikela kweNkosi ngothando kunye nokuzibamba okuliqilima kunye ziyancomeka kwaye ziyafundisa kuthi sonke. Njengoko iqela elixhobileyo loonogada basetempileni kunye namajoni wamaRoma ayefika eGetsemane eyokubamba uYesu, uPetros waya watsala ikrele lakhe waze wasika indlebe yasekunene yesicaka sombingeleli omkhulu.24 UMsindisi waye wabamba indlebe yesicaka wasiphilisa.25 Nceda uqaphele ukuba Yena wafikelela wasikelela lowo wayesonokuba ngumthimbi waKhe esebenzisa kwawona loo mandla asezulwini awayenokumthintela ekuthinjweni nasekubethelelweni emnqamlezweni.

Cingisisa kwakhona ngendlela iNkosi eyayityholwa ngayo yaze yagwetyelwa phambi koPilato ukuba mayibethelelwe emnqamlezweni.26 UYesu wayebhengezile ngelixa lokungcatshwa kwaKhe, “Uba andinako ukumbongoza uBawo, andikhuphele imikhosi yezithunywa zezulu engaphezu kweshumi elinamibini?”27 Kodwa “uMgwebi onguNaphakade wabo kunye abaphilayo nabafileyo”28 ngokudidayo waye wagwetywa phambi komqeshwa wesithutyana wezopolitiko. “[UYesu] akaphendula zwi, noko lilinye; yada yamangaliswa irhuluneli leyo.”29 Ubulali boMsindisi buyabonakala kwimpendulo yaKhe eqeqeshekileyo, yokuzibamba okuqinileyo, kunye nasekungafunini ukusebenzisa ngokugwenxa amandla aKhe anaphakade ukwenzela inzuzo eyeyakhe.

ISithembiso noBungqina

UMormoni ufundisa ukuba konke ukukwazi kwasemoyeni kunye nezipho ziphuma ekubeni nophawu lwesiseko sobulali.

“Ngako oko, ukuba umntu unokholo kufuneka abe nethemba; kuba ngaphandle kokholo akunakubakho naliphina ithemba.

“Kwaye kwakhona, qaphelani nditsho kuni ukuthi akanako ukuba nokholo nethemba ngaphandle kokuba uya kuba nobulali aze athobeke entliziyweni.

“Ukuba kunjalo, ukholo lwakhe nethemba lililize, kuba akukho namnye owamkelekayo phambi koThixo, ngaphandle kwaba nobulali nabathobekileyo entliziyweni, kwaye ukuba umntu unobulali kwaye uthobekile entliziyweni, aze avume ngamandla oMoya oyiNgcwele okokuba uYesu unguKrestu, kuyimfuneko ukuba abe nothando lwenene; kuba ukuba akanalo uthando lwenene akanto yanto; ngako oko kufuneka abe nothando lwenene.”30

UMsindisi wabhengeza, “Banoyolo abanobulali: ngokuba umhlaba baya kuwudla ilifa bona.”31 Ubulali bungumba obalulekileyo bendalo esulungekileyo kwaye bungafunyanwa kwaye buphuhliswe ebomini bethu ngeNtlawulelo yoMsindisi.

Ndiyangqina ukuba uYesu Krestu unguMsindisi wethu ovukileyo kwabafileyo kunye noMkhululi wethu ophilayo. Kwaye ndiyathembisa ukuba Yena uya kusikhokela, asikhusele, kwaye asomeleze njengoko sihamba ebulalini boMoya waKhe. Ndibhengeza ubungqina bam obuqinisekileyo beziinyaniso nezithembiso ngegama elingcwele leNkosi uYesu Krestu, amen.
