“All Kinds,” Tambuli, Sept. 1980, 36
All Kinds
I have friends my own age
Also friends who are old.
I have friends who are shy,
And then some brave and bold.
I have friends with four legs,
I have friends with just two,
I have friends that will whinny,
And others that mew.
I have friends that can swim;
Some fly through the air.
Oh, I’ll never be lonesome,
for I’ve friends everywhere.
