Holiday Whirlers

1. Trace patterns onto several different colors of construction paper.

2. Cut out circle, then cut along spiral lines.

3. Glue tiny cake decoration or grain of rice to bottom of each center (see illustration).

4. Toss several gently, and watch whirlers open up as they drift down, looking like a starburst.
