Iimpawu Zobuthixo zikaYesu Krestu: Ukuzaliswa Luthando Lwenene kunye Nothando

Isalathisi Sezibhalo sichaza uthando lwenene njengo “hlobo lothando oluphezulu kakhulu, lobunene obukhulu, nolwameleleyo kakhulu” (“‘Uthando Lwenene”). Lona luthando olumsulwa lukaYesu Krestu. Njengoko sifunda ngoYesu Krestu kwaye sizama ukufana naYe, siyakuqala ukuva uthando lwaKhe olumsulwa ebomini bethu kwaye sichukunyiswe ukuba sithande kwaye sisebenzele abanye njengoko enokwenza naYe. “Uthando lwenene kukubanomonde nomntu othe wasiphoxa,” watsho uMongameli Thomas S. Monson. “Kukuchasana nomzwa wesaquphe wokukhutyekiswa ngokulula. Kukwamkela ubuthathaka kunye nokusilela. Kukwamkela abantu ngendlela abayiyo ngenene. Kukujonga ngaphaya kweembonakalo zenyama ukuya kutsho kwiimpawu ezingenakuba luzizi exesheni. Kukuchasana nomzwa wesaquphe wokubekana nabantu ngokwamanqanaba.”1

KwiNcwadi kaMormoni, sifunda inyaniso enkulu yokuba thina “siyathandaza kuye uBawo ngayo yonke inkuthalo yentliziyo, ukuze [sibe] nokuzaliswa ngolu thando, olo alusasaze phezu kwabo bonke abangabalandeli bokwenyani boNyana wakhe, uYesu Krestu; ukuze [sibe] nokuba ngoonyana [kunye neentombi] zikaThixo; ukuze xa sukuba eya kubonakala siya kuba njengaye, kuba siya kumbona njengokuba enjalo; ukuze sibe nokubanalo eli themba; ukuze sibe nokuhlanjululwa kwananjengokuba emsulwa” (Moronayi 7:48).
