Madagascar is an island off the east coast of Africa. It has many plants and animals that aren’t found anywhere else in the world—like this ring-tailed lemur!

The Church is small in Madagascar, but it is growing! Right now there are 14 wards and 26 branches there.

More types of chameleons live in Madagascar than anywhere else in the world!

These huge baobab trees can store lots of water in their trunks—up to 120,000 litres!

Many people in Madagascar eat rice two or three times a day, sometimes with vegetables, beans, or meat.

The Malagasy word for “friend” is namana. If you could meet a new friend in Madagascar, what would you tell them?
