Gifts of Love for Jesus
Adapted from “Gifts of Love,” Brigham Young University devotional, Dec. 1980.
Heavenly Father gave us His Son, Jesus Christ. And Jesus gave His life for us so we can live with Him again. This is the greatest of all gifts. Jesus gave us this gift freely.
You may want to give a gift to Jesus. What gifts can you give Him?
You can pray.
You can read a scripture.
You can keep the commandments.
And there is still something more you can give Him. All around you, there are people He loves who you can help.
I pray that we will freely give, as Jesus did.
Service Snowflake
We can give a gift to Jesus by serving others. Make a service snowflake to remind you whom you can serve.
-
Cut out the circle.
-
Fold the circle in half along one of the lines. Then fold it in half again, and then again.
-
Cut along the dotted lines on the outline of the person. Do not cut the sides of the feet and hands.
-
Unfold the paper and write on each person the name of someone you can serve.
