Mosiah 4–6
Overview
King Benjamin referred to our imperfect nature as “the natural man” (Mosiah 3:19). He taught that we can overcome this through the Atonement of Jesus Christ. The Nephites, moved by King Benjamin’s teachings, were “filled with joy” and felt “peace of conscience” as they repented and received a remission of their sins (Mosiah 4:3). King Benjamin then taught them how to retain these feelings, and he emphasized the importance of believing in God.
