耶穌基督曾分享一個故事，談到一個富人給三個僕人一些錢。前兩個僕人明智地使用了這筆錢並將其翻倍，但第三個僕人很害怕，便將錢藏了起來以免丟失。這個富人對第三個僕人很失望，但對前兩個僕人很滿意。他對前兩個僕人說：

「好，你這又良善又忠心的僕人，你在不多的事上有忠心，我要把許多事派你管理；可以進來享受你主人的快樂」（馬太福音25：21）。

想一想天父賜予你的恩賜。也許你已獲得很好的學習能力或對他人有耐心的能力，你也可能有很大的信心或勇氣說話。要對這些恩賜負起責任並加以發展，也要想想如何使用它們來幫助他人。此外，你也可以選擇發展新的恩賜。你可以藉由運用對神的信心來尋求屬靈的恩賜、加以練習，並使用這些恩賜來幫助他人。當你尋求發展你的恩賜時，神會指引你。
