Young Women

Build sincere relationships with the young women in your ward or branch to help them feel loved and help them come unto Christ.

Encourage them to seek the guidance of the Spirit in fulfilling their sacred roles as young women.
Young Women Class Presidency
Advisers
-
Guide and mentor young women as they lead in their class presidencies.

Help instruct on the five lessons in Leadership Lessons (ChurchofJesusChrist.org) in class presidency meetings.

Help young women who have been invited to teach a lesson to effectively prepare and teach.
Parents

Parents are responsible to teach their children the gospel.

Learn how leaders can help parents (see General Handbook, 11.2.1.1).
Young Women Presidency

Help the Young Women presidency with their responsibilities. Each adviser works with a specific class of young women (see General Handbook, 11.3.5).

Advisers or specialists attend ward Young Women presidency meetings when invited.

All specialists and advisers serve under the direction of the ward or branch Young Women presidency.
