In Bethlehem in starry light,
A mother lifts her shining eyes;
So peaceful and bright,
So still is the night.
In a stable a baby cries.
The angels sing about his birth.
The Son of God is come to us on earth,
Praise his name on high;
Men shall never die!
All the world is filled
With the love that he brings.
Born this night in Bethlehem,
The tiny babe who saved all men
Is Christ our King.
