If I had lived when Jesus did,

If I had walked his way,

I would have heard the things he said,

I’d listen and obey.

But I was blessed to come to earth

In these the latter days,

To dwell with Saints who like myself

Give thanks and sing his praise.

And still we have the chance today

To walk the path he trod,

To learn, obey, and prove ourselves,

So we may return to God.
