1. Long ago in Bethlehem,
In a manger bare,
Was born a Savior,
And shepherds worshipped there.
2. Choirs of heav’nly angels
Proclaimed the holy birth
And sang glad tidings of joy to all
And peace to men on earth.
3. God had sent his greatest gift
To help us on our way.
Sing Allelujah, our Savior was born
This happy Christmas day.
