A Mighty Wave
With conviction
1. I see a wave, a mighty wave,
Reaching ev’ry shore.
It will rise and crest upon the land,
Roll forword evermore.
The Savior calls; I must prepare
To join the growing tide
of faithful youth in latter days
Who in the truth abide.
2. Oh, who will stand and serve the Lord,
Leading valiantly?
Will you choose to bind the evil one
And keep God’s children free?
Then who will join the faithful few
And be the Savior’s friend
With faith and hope and charity,
Enduring to the end?
3. I see a wave, a mighty wave,
Reaching ev’ry shore.
It will rise and crest upon the land,
Roll forward evermore.
The Savior calls; am I prepared
To serve Him valiantly?
I’ll join that wave and will stand
With Him eternally.
