Mirror

I tire of my face and

my faults

and my unsteady

faith in myself.

Let me look in the mirror

the Lord would make,

to know myself not in

the insecurity

of here and now

but in the strength of

someday

that reaches to eternity

and shows me as the

daughter that I am.
