Service
A Prayer
Service is not easy.
My selfless moments are wrung,
Torn,
Out of my inwardness.
There are those who live the Lord’s way
Every day,
Serving their fellowmen unselfishly,
With love.
O Lord, kindle in my soul that charity.
Help me to forget myself, abandon Me,
Remembering only that I do it unto Thee.
