Zion Must Go Forth

1. The gospel in its glorious light
In latter days has been restored.
Now Zion must go forth in might
To testify of Christ the Lord.

Let Zion join to sing his praise,
And let the Saints in ev’ry land
Join with the Lamb of God to raise
A kingdom that will ever stand.

2. Tho’ darkness reigned in ages past,
God’s will is once again revealed,
And Zion must fo forth, at last,
To harvest up the whitened field.

3. Jehovah, from his throne on high
A mighty ensign has unfurled.
Now Zion must go forth to cry
Repentance unto all the world.

4. Arise, then, O ye chosen youth!
Arise and take his word abroad
For Zion must go forth with truth
