Time looks over my shoulder and
laughs.
I’ve grown, I can see that now,
Grown among the thorns of life’s field,
nurtured by warmth and light of love.
And here, between the lines, I wrote
in happiness and frustration,
joy and tears.
Now I can read. …
The bud of life’s awakening has
opened.
