Naʻe pehē ʻe Palesiteni Nalesoni, “ʻOku finangalo e ʻOtuá ke tau ngāue fakataha mo fetokoniʻaki. Ko e ʻuhinga ia naʻá ne fekauʻi mai ai kitautolu ki māmani ʻi ha ngaahi fāmilí mo vahevahe kitautolu ki ha ngaahi uooti mo e siteikí. Ko e ʻuhinga ia ʻokú Ne kole mai ai ke tau tokoni mo fetauhiʻakí. Ko e ʻuhinga ia ʻokú Ne kole mai ai ke tau ʻi māmani kae ʻikai ʻo māmaní. ʻE lahi ange e ngaahi meʻa te tau lavaʻi fakatahá, ʻi he meʻa te tau lavaʻi tokotahá.”2

ʻOku faingataʻa ʻa e moʻuí ʻi he māmani ko ʻení. Koeʻuhí ko e Hinga ʻa ʻĀtama mo ʻIví, ʻoku tau fehangahangai ai mo e ʻakau talatalá mo e talatalaʻāmoá, ngaahi faingataʻá mo e ʻahiʻahí. Ko e faʻahinga aʻusia peheé ko ha konga ia ʻo e palani ʻo e fiefiá, ka ʻoku tau fetokoniʻaki ke matuʻuaki e ngaahi matangi ʻo e moʻuí.

“Konga ʻo ʻEne Taumuʻa Fakalangí”

ʻI he ngaahi ʻaho ko ʻeni ʻo e veiveiuá mo e taʻepaú, ʻoku mahuʻinga ki heʻetau moʻui fakalaumālié ʻa e ʻilo ki he palani ʻo e fiefiá. Ka he ʻikai lava ke tau ʻamanaki atu ʻe fafanga ʻe he māmaní ʻetau fānaú ʻaki e ngaahi tefitoʻi moʻoni ʻo e fiefia taʻengatá. ʻI heʻetau hoko ko e mātuʻá, ʻoku fie maʻu ke tau akoʻi ʻetau fānaú fekauʻaki mo honau tupuʻanga mo e ikuʻanga fakalangí.

ʻOku tau kamata ʻaki hono tokoniʻi kinautolu ke fakatupulaki ha fakamoʻoni kia Sīsū Kalaisi mo ʻEne Fakaleleí, ʻa ia ko e uho ia ʻo e palani ʻo e fakamoʻuí. ʻOku ou tui te tau lava ʻo ohi hake ha fānau anga māʻoniʻoni mo fonu ʻamanaki ʻi ha feituʻu pē ʻi he māmaní kapau te nau maʻu ha fakavaʻe mālohi ʻi he Fakamoʻuí.

ʻI he efiafi fakafāmilí, lolotonga ʻa e lotu mo e ako folofola fakafāmilí, ʻi he ngaahi ʻekitivitī mo e tukufakahoko fakafāmilí, pea naʻa mo e ngaahi taimi ʻo e fakatonutonú, “ʻoku mau lea ʻia Kalaisi, ʻoku mau fiefia ʻia Kalaisi, ʻoku mau malanga ʻaki ʻa Kalaisi, ʻoku mau kikite ʻia Kalaisi, … ke ʻilo ʻe heʻemau fānaú ki he tupuʻanga ʻa ia te nau lava ke sio ki ai ke maʻu ai ha fakamolemole ʻo ʻenau ngaahi angahalá” (2 Nīfai 25:26).

ʻOku tau tokoni ke mahino ki heʻetau fānaú ko e fakatomalá ʻi he palani ʻo e fakamoʻuí, ko ha “founga ngāue ia ʻi he moʻuí kotoa”7 ʻokú ne ʻomi ʻa e ʻamanaki leleí mo e fakamoʻuí ʻi heʻene toʻo e mafasia ʻo e laumālié mo fakamaama ʻa e kahaʻú.

ʻI hono fakatupulaki ko ia ʻe heʻetau fānaú ʻa e tui ki he Fakalelei ʻa Kalaisí, te nau ʻiloʻi ai he ʻikai teitei mole ʻa e meʻa kotoa pē pea ʻoku tatali mai ʻa e ʻEikí kiate kinautolu ʻi ha toʻukupu ʻoku mafao mai. ʻOku tau tokoni ke mahino kiate kinautolu “ʻe ʻi ai e ʻaho he ʻikai ke toe hoko ko ha feilaulau e ngaahi meʻa kotoa naʻa [tau] tuku koeʻuhí ke muimui ki [hotau] hala ki he ʻapi fakalangí.”8

Tānaki Fakataha e Fānau ʻa e ʻOtuá

ʻOku ʻikai ke tau aʻusia tokotaha pē hotau ikuʻanga fakalangí. ʻI heʻetau hoko ko e Kāingalotu ʻo e Siasí, ʻoku ʻi ai hotau fatongia makehe ke fakaafeʻi e niʻihi kehé ʻi heʻetau fononga ki hotau ʻapi fakalangí. ʻOku fie maʻu ʻe he māmaní ha Kāingalotu ʻoku loto fiemālie ke tuku ke ulo atu e maama ʻo hono Fakafoki Mai ʻo e Ongoongoleleí ʻo fakafou ʻi heʻenau ngaahi fakamoʻoní, sīpingá, mo e loto fiemālie ke vahevahe ʻa e ongoongoleleí. ʻI he ulo atu ʻetau māmá, ʻoku tau fakahoko ai ʻa e tānaki fakatahá.

Naʻe pehē ʻe Palesiteni Nalesoni, “ʻI heʻetau talanoa fekauʻaki mo e tānakí fakatahá , ʻoku tau ʻuhinga ai ki he moʻoni mahuʻinga ko ʻení: ʻoku fie maʻu ʻe he tokotaha kotoa pē ʻi he fānau ʻetau Tamai Hēvaní, ʻi he ongo tafaʻaki ʻo e veilí, ʻa e pōpōaki ʻo hono fakafoki mai ʻa e ongoongolelei ʻo Sīsū Kalaisí. ʻOku nau fili maʻanautolu pē ʻo kapau ʻoku nau fie maʻu ke ʻilo lahi ange.”9

ʻI heʻetau tokoniʻi e niʻihi kehé ʻi he hala ki honau ikuʻanga fakalangí, ʻoku tau tokoniʻi ai kitautolu ʻi he hala tatau pē, ke “tali ʻa kinautolu ʻi he puleʻanga ʻo e Tamaí ʻo ʻikai toe hū ki tuʻa, kae nofo fakataha mo e ʻOtuá ʻo taʻengata ʻi he ngaahi langí” (3 Nīfai 28:40).
