It’s different from any other book on earth.

The Book of Mormon comes with amazing promises.

Ideally, we’re always reading and pondering the Book of Mormon in addition to our other scripture study. But this year is a chance to focus on the keystone of our religion all year long.

Have you read it before? If you have, you may be surprised at how many new things you’ll notice this time around. That’s the miracle of this wonderful book! It stays the same, but you can get something different out of it every time.

President Russell M. Nelson promised that when you study the Book of Mormon, “the windows of heaven will open, and you will receive answers to your own questions and direction for your own life.”1

He was echoing what another prophet, Ezra Taft Benson, said decades ago. President Benson said that power “will begin to flow into your lives the moment you begin a serious study of the book.”2

Not “after a while” or “once you’ve finished the whole thing,” but as soon as you get serious about it. Isn’t that awesome?

We’ll be sharing a quick thought from “Come, Follow Me” lessons with you each week throughout the year, as well as other scripture connection posts here and there. Let’s power up together!

Start Small

If you aren’t already in the habit of reading the Book of Mormon, now’s the time to start! Set small goals of just a few minutes a day, and build from there. You got this!
