Have you ever been in a talent show before? It’s where everyone takes a few minutes to show off something they’re good at.
Maybe tonight you could have one as a family! Here are some ideas for what people could do:
- Hold up a picture they drew.
- Talk about a time they helped a friend.
- Share something they cooked.
- Perform a song, dance, magic trick, or stunt.
- Recite a favorite poem or scripture they memorized.
There are sooo many different talents in the world! Each of us has at least one gift from God. (See Doctrine and Covenants 46:11.)
For an extra connection, ask your parents if they remember any talents their parents and grandparents were good at. Add these to the person’s memories on FamilySearch.org if they’re not there already!
