Jaha main raheta hoon, November ke mahine ke aaspaas, mere chaaron or ki prakrti pheekee neend mein chali jaatee hai. Haree pattiyon ki sarasaraahat, ek baar basant aur garmi ke mahinon mein dhire-dhire phoonk maarakar mere liye gaa raha tha, banjar pedon aur mere pairon ke niche sukhe aur gire hue patton ke tutne ki aavaaz ko raasta deta hai. Ek baar prasann pakshi chup ho jaate hain, aur pankhudiyon aur phulon ki mithee sugandh hawa se udne lagti hai. Praakrtik(natural) duniya ki cheejen jinhen main jiwan ki uttejana ke saath jodata hoon, weh kuch samay ke liye piche hat jaatee hain, aur sabhi shaant aur sabhi vistaar mein jo piche choot jaata hai—jaise varsh is prakaar samaapt ho raha hai aur isse pahale ki main khush rahana bhool jaoon—upahaar Bada Din ka aagaman hota hai.
Aur Parmeshwar ki mahaan duniya ke mere kone mein, Mujhe yaad hai. Mujhe un pedon par dhyaan dena yaad hai jo hamesha hare rahate hain, lakdi, masaale, aur mittee ki sugandh dete hain. Mujhe aise phoolon aur jaamunon ki talaash karna yaad hai jo gahare laal ya aashcharyajanak roop se saphed ho aur dilon aur gharon aur pooja gharon mein le jae jaane waale parichit kairal ko sunane ke liye, “duniya ke liye khushi” ki ghoshna karte hue, main Bada Din ke pratikon ki talaash karta hoon jo “swarg aur prakrti mere saath gaate hain” aur mujhe yaad rakhne ke liye aamantrit karte hain.
Is samay ka ek aashcharye yah hai ki aisa prateet hota hai ki sampurn Isaai jagat aur hamari seemaon se pare kai log, is avadhi ko uddeshyapurn dhang se apane jiwan ki talaash aur bharane mein bitaate hain Bada Din par ryaad chinhon ke saath.
Bada Din wah pul hai jis par ham nae saal mein pravesh karne ke liye yaatra karte hain. Aur jaise hi ham apna raasta paar karte hain, hamen “anant Parmeshwar, Prabhu, prthvee ke chor ke Nirmaata ke chamatkaar par vichaar karane ke liye aamantrit kiya jaata hai ”1 jo David ke shahar mein saadhaaran paristhitiyon mein paida hua tha aur “kapadon mein lipata hua, charanee mein leta hua” tha.”2 Jaise hi ham apani Bada Din teerthayaatra(pilgrimage) karte hain, shaayad ham khudko aadhunik samay ke buddhimaan purushon aur mahilaon ke roop mein dekh sakte hain, shaayad hamaare chaaron or chamakate sadaabahaar pedon aur roshni ke upar sitaaron ko dekh rahe hain aur set kiye gae sanketon par “atyadhik khush[i] ke saath aanandit”3ho rahe hain. hamare saamane Ishu Masih ki or Apni yaatra ka maargadarshan aur maargadarshan karane ke liye, jo “sansaar ki roshni hai.”4 Yadi ham is mausam ke dauraan hava mein latake hue ek vishesh masaale ki gandh ko mehsoos karate hain, to shaayad yah hamen “jeevit eeshvar ke putr ko dene ke liye apane saath upahaar laane ki yaad dilaane ke liye hai ”5—na ki “sona, aur lobaan, aur lohabaan”6 lekin hamaare “toote hue dil aur ek pachataave wali aatma” ka ek poojaneey balidaan ”7 Aur hamein se un logon ke liye jo bachchon se pyaar karate hain aur unki dekhbhaal karate hain, shaayad ham vartamaan samay ke charavaahon ke samaan hain jo “[hamare] jhund kee nigaraanee karate hain ”8 “daro mat” ke nimantran ke saath prabhu dwara bheje gae saansaarik svargaduton ki baat sunate hain, kyunki weh jaha hamara Rakshak paaya ja sakata hai, waha disha-nirdesh lekar aaen.9 Kya hamen gawahi ke taur par apane bachchon ke kaanon mein ye “badi khushee ki khushakhabari” sunaana yaad nahin hai? Bada Din hamen apane Rakshak, Ishu Masih ke baare mein gawahi paane ke liye Bethlehem ki aadhyaatmik yaatra karane ki anumati deta hai, aur phir us gawahi ko aage le jaane aur jeebh dheelee karake aur pairon aur haathon ko “videshon mein gyaat” karane ke liye taeyaar karane”10 aur rikord rakhane ki anumati deta hai. hamane usake vishay mein jo kuch bhi jaana hai. Yaad karake ham Rakshak ki teerthayaatra kar sakate hain.
Parmeshwar hamen yaadgaar ka upahaar deta hai taaki ham Denewaale, ko na bhulen, taaki ham apane prati usake aseem prem ko mehsoos kar saken aur badale mein usase prem karana sikh saken. Praacheen profat Moroni hamen yah yaad rakhane ke liye protsaahit karate hain ki “har achcha upahaar Masih se aata hai.”11 Hamara Rakshak upahaar deta hai, waise nahin jaise duniya deti hai—asthaayee, aanshik, aur samay ke saath ksheen hone ki sambhaavana. Ishu Maish sthaayee upahaar, yaha tak ki aavashyak upahaar bhi pradaan karata hai, jinmen shaamil hain:

Aur jab ham pure jiwanakaal mein hamare jiwan mein aae bade aur chote “ achche upahaaron” par vichaar karate hain, to kya ham Prabhu ke haath ko hamen bachaate, hamen mazboot karate aur hamen raahat pradaan karate hue dekh sakate hain?
Jabki kabhi-kabhi hamare man aur hrday Usse bhatak sakate hain aur kami sakate hain, Uski sthirata hamen aashvast karti hai ki Prabhu hamen nahin bhoolate—Bada Din par ya kisi anye samay par. Prabhu ne ghoshna ki hai ki ham Usake haathon ki hatheliyon par ankit hain.13 Unke vaade hamesha nibhae jaate hain. Usne aur aage kaha, “ Isliye har koi har Sabbath ke din prabhu-bhoj sabha mein jaata hai—prabhu-bhoj lene ke liye aur pujaariyon ki prarthana sunane ke liye ki ‘weh hamesha use yaad rakhen aur uski aagyaon ka paalan karen jo usane unhen di hai.’ … Yaad rakhen shabd hai. Yaad rakhen kaaryakram hai.”16
Parmeshwar ka smaran hamen apani aadhyaatmik gati kee shakti ko prajvalit karne ke liye prerit karata hai aur hamen ishwaariye tarikon se kaarye karane ke liye aamantrit karata hai. In shikshaon par vichaar karen jinhen President Nelson ne hamen yaad rakhane ke liye aamantrit kiya hai:

“Parmeshwar ko aapake jiwan mein prabal hone de” aur “Use apane samay ka uchit hissa den.”

“Chamatkaar ki talaash kare aur ummeed kare.”

“Apne … jiwan mein sangharsh samaapt karen”17 aur shaanti-laane-waale banen.18
Bada Din in nimantranon par kaarravai karane aur Ishu Masih ke baare mein adhik sochane, Unake janm ke chamatkaar par vichaar karane ke liye grahanasheel hone aur Parmeshwar ke bachchon ke saath sangati ki adhik bhaavana ko mehsoos karane aur kaarye karane ke liye hamare praakrtik jhukaav par udaarataapurvak kaam karne ka avsar ho sakata hai. Yaadgaar ke prateek jo Bada Din ke mausam ki visheshata hain, unhen aksar ham is roop mein pehachaante hain:

Doston, parivaar aur ajanabiyon ko Bada Din ki shubhakaamanaen dena yaad rakhen.

Pyaar ki abhivyakti ke taur par upahaar dena yaad rakhen.
-
Zarooratamandon ke prati udaar hona aur hamare gharon mein pravesh karane waalon ka satkaar karna yaad rakhen.
-
Paarivaarik samaarohon aur paramparaon ke mahatv par jor dena yaad rakhen jo Bada Din ko alag aur vishisht banate hain.
Saal ke is samay mein kai logon ke liye, ek jaisa bhojan taeyaar karane, lagaataar paarivaarik kahaaniyon ko doharaane aur apane Bada Din pedon ko aabhooshanon se sajaane ka hamara gahara pyaar, jo ham har saal pradarshit karate hain, mahatvpurn gatividhiyaan hain jo hamare liye mahatvapurn anubhavon ko yaad rakhane ki hamari svaabhaavik ichcha ko sanrakshit karti hain. Vishesh bhojan, kuch kahaniyaan aur chuttiyon ki sajaavat hamari ekatrit yaadon ke liye smrti chinh ke roop mein kaam kar sakate hain. Varsh ke is samay mein adhik paropakaari hone ki hamari prabal ichcha bhi aabhaari hona yaad rakhne ke hamare iraade ki or dhyaan aakarshit kar sakti hai. Bada Din ke aagaman ke saath jo vishesh prakaar ka pyaar hamare saamane aata hai, woh hamari aakaankshaon aur hamare kaaryon ko Ishu Masih par kendrit karane ka ek avasar bhi hai: “Yaad rakho, yaad rakho ki yah hamare Muktidaata ki chattaan par hai, jo Masih, Parmeshwar ka Putr hai, ki aapako apanee neev banaani hogi.”19 Yaad rakhe ki jaise hi ham ek varsh ke kareeb aate hain aur ham pul ke paar ek nae varsh ki yaatra par—jaate hain buddhimaan purushon aur buddhimaan mahilaon ke roop mein, satark charavaahon ke roop mein—yah Prabhu ke haath ki taakat se hai20ki ham aisa karate hain.
Isliye aap duniya mein kahi bhi rahen, un vibhinn pratikon par dhyaan dena yaad rakhen jo aapko Masih ki talaash karane ke liye aamantrit karte hain. Varsh ke is samay mein ham jin sabhi baaton par jor dete hain, pratyek abhivaadan ke saath, pratyek vyakti ke liye jise ham dhyaan mein rakhte hain, aaie ham sachche Denewala—ko yaad karne se na chooken woh jo hamen kabhi nahin bhulata aur hamen Bada Din ke samay aur har samay Apni Aatma ke maadhyam se use yaad karne ki shakti deta hai. Woh “duniya mein khushee” laata hai aur hamare dilon ko hamare Raaja ka svaagat karane ke lie “ usake lie kamara taiyaar karane”21 ke liye aamantrit karata hai. Woh wah nishchit aadhaar hai jis par ham yaatra karate hain. Woh Duniya ka Roshni hai aur jiwit Parmeshwar ka Putra. Main Uske pavitra naam se gawahi deta hoon, Ishu Masih ke bhi, amen.
