Recuperating

Two members of the First Council of the Seventy were recently hospitalized, but both are now convalescing.

Elder Milton R. Hunter, 71, has been undergoing treatment for pneumonia. He was hospitalized at the time of general conference in April, was released, but then returned for further care. Elder Hunter was sustained as one of the First Council of the Seventy in 1945.

Elder Paul H. Dunn, 50, is recovering following open-heart surgery. Elder Dunn, who was sustained as a member of the First Council of the Seventy in 1964, was initially hospitalized for observation after experiencing what a hospital spokesman described as a “pending heart attack.”
