Sister Kimball Recuperating After Fall, Surgery
While preparing to attend the announcement brunch for the BYU Camilla Eyring Kimball Chair of Home and Family Life, Sister Kimball fell in her Hotel Utah apartment and suffered a broken hip. The injury required implantation of an artificial hip joint in a three-hour operation on October 16.
Sister Kimball is “progressing very well. She is up and walking around a few minutes every day,” said Church public communications spokesmen.
