A Puzzle

Every night at bedtime

I have to wash my face

And brush my teeth and scrub my neck

And comb my hair in place.

And early every morning

(It is a daily rule)

I have to get all washed again

Before I go to school.

A problem I’d like solved for me—

I can’t get through my head—

How can I get so dirty

Just lying there in bed?
