Beginnings
A dot is a beginning.
From it lines go out
To form a square or, spinning,
Turn around, about,
Until it is a circle.
A line is a beginning
Of a word or two.
The lines go up, around, or down
In patterns old and new-
and then you have a thought.
A thought is a beginning.
The beginning of a way
To make a better world.
Beginning with today …
A dot! A line! Why not?
