New Testament “Who Said It?”

Match each New Testament person with the scripture statement made by him/her. A good family home evening activity would be to read the story from which each scripture is taken (see references following each statement).

1. Mary, mother of Jesus

a. “Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God.” (See Acts 7:56; story—Acts 6:8–7:60.)

2. King Herod

b. “Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe” (See John 20:25; story—John 20:19–31.)

3. John the Baptist

c. “I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me?” (See Matt. 3:14; story—Matt. 3.)

4. Jesus Christ
