Jesus Comforted Others

Jesus was good friends with Mary, Martha, and their brother, Lazarus. Lazarus got sick and died. Mary and Martha were very sad.

After four days, Jesus went to Mary and Martha’s home. He comforted them and told them that their brother would live again. Then He raised Lazarus from the dead. They were filled with joy.

You can read this story in John 11:1–3, 17, 20–25, 32–45.

I Can Comfort Others

• Look for a chance to help someone who is sick or sad.

• Say a prayer and make a plan to comfort them.

• Do your plan!

• Cut out this card to remind you to keep helping like Jesus.
