En mand, der hed Zakæus, ville gerne se Jesus. Han var ikke så høj, så han klatrede op i et træ for bedre at kunne se. De fleste kunne ikke lide Zakæus. Men Jesus var ligeglad med, hvad folk syntes. Han lagde mærke til Zakæus og bad om at besøge ham i hans hjem. (Se Luk 19:2-10).

Nogle børn kom for at se Jesus. Hans disciple ønskede at sende dem væk. Men Jesus sagde, »lad de små børn komme til mig« (Mark 10:14). Han velsignede dem og tilbragte tid sammen med dem.

Når nogen lukkes ude, kan jeg invitere dem til at være sammen med mig.

En aften gav en kvinde Jesus noget olie som en gave. Andre sagde, at det var spild af olie. Men Jesus sagde: »Lad hende være« (Mark 14:6). Han fortalte dem, at hun havde gjort noget godt.
