How You Can Be a Missionary
Adapted from “Preaching the Gospel of Peace,” Liahona, May 2022, 6–7; and “Be Thou an Example of the Believers,” Liahona, Nov. 2010, 47–49.
The Lord told His disciples to “go . . . into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature” (Mark 16:15). Everyone deserves a chance to know where they can find the hope and peace of Jesus Christ. We each have a sacred responsibility to share the peace of Jesus Christ with all who will listen.
You can help others find the peace of the gospel by:
-
Being a good example.
-
Following Jesus Christ so that His light can shine in your eyes.
-
Enlarging your circle of friends.
-
Inviting a friend to read the Book of Mormon.
-
Inviting a friend to go to a Church meeting or activity with you.
You can also decide to serve a mission when you are older. It will bless you and many others.
