What Is the Endowment?

When you are older, you can go inside the temple for a special ceremony called the endowment. During the endowment, we learn about God’s plan and Jesus Christ, and we promise to follow Them. The knowledge we receive and the covenants we make during the endowment are gifts from God. Prophets have promised that the endowment will give us more hope, comfort, and peace.

Panama City Panama Temple

From this temple, you can see the Panama Canal and the Pacific Ocean.
It sits on a green hill near a rainforest.
When it was dedicated, one thousand youth performed traditional dances to celebrate.

Santo Domingo Dominican Republic Temple

This was the 99th temple to be dedicated.
The temple grounds have palm trees and a beautiful view of the Caribbean Sea.
This was the first temple built in the Caribbean.
