In the temple, we wear white clothing to remind us that we can be made pure and clean through Jesus Christ. It also shows that we are all equal in God’s eyes. Prophets have promised that as we do temple work, our lives will be filled with peace and purpose.

Seoul Korea Temple

  • The outside walls are made of granite from the mountains.

  • This temple has six spires. The tallest is 112 feet (34 m) high.

  • This was the first temple in Korea. It was dedicated in 1985 in Seoul, the capital city.

Guayaquil Ecuador Temple

  • The groundbreaking was on Ecuador’s independence day.

  • It has been called “the most beautiful building in Ecuador.”

  • Church members worked hard to clean the temple late at night for the open house.
