Maluʻi mei he Ponokalafí—ko ha ʻApi ʻOku Fakatefito ʻia Kalaisi

Linda S. Reeves

Ko e meʻa sivi lelei taha he māmaní …

ʻE kāinga, kuo faitāpuakiʻi au he ʻahó ni ko e ʻi heni hoku makapuna lalahi taha ʻe toko 13. Kuo tupu ai haʻaku fehuʻi “Ko e hā ʻoku ou fakaʻamu ke ʻilo ʻe hoku makapuná?” ʻOku ou fie lea hangatonu he pongipongí ni ki hotau fāmilí.

ʻI heʻemau hoko ko e kau takí, ʻoku mau hohaʻa ki he fakaʻauha ʻoku fai ʻe he ponokalafí ʻi he moʻui ʻo e kāingalotu ʻo e Siasí mo honau ngaahi fāmilí. ʻOku toe lahi ange ʻa e ʻoho ʻa Sētané.

Ko e taha ʻo e ʻuhinga ʻoku tau ʻi māmani aí ke ako ke mapuleʻi hotau uʻá mo e ngaahi ongo hotau sino fakamatelié. Ne ako ʻa Palesiteni Sipenisā W. Kimipolo ʻo kau ki he nofomalí ʻo pehē, “ʻoku hoko leva hoto malí … ko e meʻa mahuʻinga taha ia ʻi he moʻui ʻa e husepānití pe uaifí, pea… [ʻikai] ha toe faʻahinga meʻa [pe] ko ha faʻahinga taha te ne toe fakauouaʻi ʻa hoto malí. …

“ʻOku tomuʻa fie maʻu ʻa e mateakiʻi kakató mo e anganofo kakató ki he nofo malí.”1

ʻI he ngaahi taʻu lahi kuohilí, ne hohaʻa lahi ha taha ʻo ʻema fānaú. ʻOku ou manatuʻi ʻa e ongo toputapu ne u maʻu ʻi heʻema tuʻulutui fakataha ko e faʻē mo e ʻofefine pea kolea e tokoni ʻa ʻetau Tamai Hēvaní.

Mahalo ʻoku fakaʻamu e niʻihi ko ʻení ke mavahe mei he tauhelé ni, ka ko e taimi lahi ʻoku ʻikai ke nau malava ʻo ikunaʻi ʻiate kinautolu pē.

ʻI heʻetau hoko ko e mātuʻa pe kau takí, ʻoku fie maʻu ke tau fealēleaʻaki maʻu pē mo ʻetau fānaú mo e toʻu tupú, pea fakafanongo ʻi he ʻofa mo e mahino.

Mātuʻa, ʻoku tau ʻilo nai e ngaahi meʻa ngāue toʻotoʻo ʻoku lava ʻo hū ki he ʻInitanetí ko ia ʻoku kovi lahi tahá kae ʻikai ko e komipiutá.2

Kakai lalahi, kapau kuo maʻu koe ʻe he tauhele ʻa Sētane ko e ponokalafí, manatuʻi ʻa e ʻaloʻofa ʻa hotau Fakamoʻuí. ʻOkú ke ʻilo ʻa e ʻofa lahi mo hono mataʻikoloa ʻaki koe ʻe he ʻEikí, ʻo aʻu pē ki he taimí ni? ʻOku maʻu ʻe hotau Fakamoʻuí ʻa e mālohi ke fakamaʻa mo fakamoʻui koe. ʻE lava ke Ne toʻo ʻa e mamahi mo e loto mamahi ʻokú ke ongoʻí pea ʻai ke ke toe maʻa ʻo fakafou ʻi Heʻene Fakaleleí.

ʻI heʻemau hoko ko e kau takí ʻoku mau fuʻu hohaʻa foki ki he mali mo e fāmili ʻo kinautolu ʻoku fefaʻuhi mo hono maʻunimā ʻe he ponokalafí. . [Ka ʻoku ʻikai totonu ke mou pehē ko homou fatongia ia.]”3 ʻOku ʻikai te ke tuenoa. ʻOku ʻi ai ha tokoni. ʻOku ʻi ai ha ngaahi fakataha ki he fakaakeake mei he maʻunimá maʻá e hoá, kau ai e fakataha fakahoko ʻi he telefoní, ʻa ia ʻokú ne fakaʻatā ʻa e hoá ke tā ʻo kau ki ha fakataha mei honau ʻapí pē.

Kāinga, te tau maluʻi fēfē ʻetau fānaú mo e toʻu tupú? Ko ha meʻangāue ʻaonga ʻa e meʻa sivi ʻo e ʻinitanetí, ka ko e meʻa sivi lelei taha he māmaní, pea ko e meʻa pē ia ʻe taha ʻe ngāué, ko e meʻa sivi fakatāutaha ʻoku maʻu mei ha fakamoʻoni loloto mo tuʻuloa ki he ʻofa ʻa ʻetau Tamai Hēvaní mo e feilaulau huhuʻi ʻa hotau Fakamoʻuí maʻatatutolú.

Te tau tataki fēfē ʻetau fānaú ki he ului lahi angé pea mo e Fakalelei ʻa e Fakamoʻuí? ʻOku ou saiʻia he fakamatala ʻa e palōfita ko Nīfaí ki he meʻa ne fai ʻe hono kakaí ke fakamālohia e toʻu tupu ʻo hono ʻahó: “ʻOku mau lea ʻia Kalaisi, ʻoku mau fiefia ʻia Kalaisi, ʻoku mau malanga ʻaki ʻa Kalaisi, [pea] ʻoku mau kikite ʻia Kalaisi … ke ʻilo ʻe heʻemau fānaú ki he tupuʻanga ʻa ia te nau lava ke sio ki ai ke maʻu ai ha fakamolemole ʻo ʻenau ngaahi angahalá.”4

Te tau fakahoko fēfē ʻeni ʻi hotau ʻapí? Kuo fanongo haʻamou niʻihi ki haʻaku talanoa ʻo kau ki heʻeku ongoʻi lōmekina mo hoku husepāniti ko Melí, ʻi heʻema hoko ko ha mātuʻa ki ha fānau kei iiki ʻe toko fā. ʻI heʻema fehangahangai mo e ngaahi pole ʻo e hoko ko e mātuʻá pea feinga ke feau e ngaahi fie maʻu ʻo e moʻuí, naʻá ma fie maʻu ha tokoni. Naʻá ma lotu mo kole ke ʻilo e meʻa ke faí. Ko e ngaahi meʻa pē ʻoku fie maʻu ke fakahoko ʻi ʻapí ko e lau folofola fakaʻahó mo e lotú, mo e efiafi fakafāmili ʻi ʻapi fakauiké.”

Naʻá ma feinga ke fai e ngaahi meʻá ni, ka ne ʻikai ke fakamuʻomuʻa maʻu pē kinautolu pea ne faʻa liʻaki ʻi he lahi e ngaahi meʻa ne hokó. Ne liliu e meʻa ne tuku ki ai ʻemau tokangá pea feinga ke ʻoua ʻe hohaʻa ki he ngaahi meʻa ne ʻikai fuʻu mahuʻingá. Ne mau tokanga ke talanoa, fiefia, malanga ʻaki, mo fakamoʻoni kia Kalaisi ʻaki ʻemau feinga ke lotu mo ako fakaʻaho e folofolá pea fai mo e efiafi fakafāmili fakauike ʻi ʻapí.

Ne toki fakatokanga mai ʻe haku kaungāmeʻa, “ʻI he taimi ʻokú ke kole ai ki he kau fafiné ke lau e folofolá mo lotu lahi angé, ʻoku nau puputuʻu. ʻOku nau ongoʻi ʻo hangē ʻoku fuʻu lahi e meʻa ke nau faí.”

Kāinga, koeʻuhí ko ʻeku ʻilo ʻi he meʻa kuó u aʻusia mo hoku husepānití, kuo pau ke u fakamoʻoni ki he ngaahi tāpuaki ʻo e ako fakaʻaho e folofolá, lotú mo e efiafi fakafāmili fakauike ʻi ʻapí. Ko e ngaahi meʻa mahuʻinga ʻeni ʻoku tokoni ke toʻo ʻa e hohaʻá, tataki ʻetau moʻuí pea maluʻi lahi ange hotau ʻapí. Pea kapau ʻe hoko mai e ponokalafí pe ha ʻahiʻahi kehe ki hotau fāmilí, te tau lava ʻo kole e tokoni ʻa e ʻEikí pea ʻamanaki atu ki ha tataki mei he Laumālié ʻi heʻetau ʻilo kuo tau fai e finangalo ʻo ʻetau Tamaí.

Kapau ʻoku lalahi ʻetau fānaú pea ʻikai fie kau mai, te tau lava ʻo fakahoko pē ia ʻe kitautolu. ʻI heʻetau fai iá, ʻe fakafonu ʻe he ivi takiekina ʻo e Laumālié hotau ʻapí mo ʻetau moʻuí, pea ʻe talangofua leva ʻetau fānaú.

Manatuʻi kuo talaʻofa mai ʻe he kau ʻAposetolo moʻuí ʻi heʻetau fekumi ki heʻetau ngaahi kuí pea teuteu e ngaahi hingoa ʻo hotau fāmilí ki he temipalé, ʻe maluʻi kitautolu he taimí ni pea ʻi he kotoa ʻo ʻetau moʻuí ʻi heʻetau tauhi ke tau taau ke maʻu ha lekomeni temipalé.5 Ko e toki ngaahi talaʻofa fungani!

Ki he toʻu tupú, mou fatongia ʻaki hoʻomou lelei fakalaumālié.

Ke nau ʻilo mo kimoutolu foki ʻoku ou ʻilo ʻoku moʻui mo ʻofaʻi kitautolu ʻe he Fakamoʻuí. Kuó Ne totongi ʻetau angahalá ka kuo pau ke tau lotu ki heʻetau Tamai ʻi Hēvaní ʻi he loto fakatōkilalo moʻoni, vete ʻetau angahalá pea kole kiate Ia ha fakamolemole. Kuo pau ke tau fie liliu hotau lotó mo e holí pea lotofakatōkilalo feʻunga ke kole e tokoni mo e fakamolemole ʻa kinautolu kuo tau fakamamahiʻi pe siʻakí.

ʻOku ou ʻiloʻi ne mamata ʻa Siosefa Sāmita ki he ʻOtuá ko ʻetau Tamai Hēvaní, pea mo hotau Falamoʻui ko Sīsū Kalaisí. ʻOku ou fakamoʻoni ʻoku ʻi ai haʻatau palōfita moʻui ko Palesiteni Tōmasi S.
